Warranty

Our Resound hearing aids include a 5 year Manufacturers warranty from the date of purchase, which covers the aids for repair or replacement due to faults and damages. Loss is not covered by the warranty.

If there is a hardware fault with the hearing aids we would have the aids shipped to our lab in the UK where we would manage the repair with the manufacturer.

For software or general aftercare support, we may schedule a session with one of our audiologists who would be able to adjust the aids remotely.

Whilst not cheap, these hearing aids are very good. Their Bluetooth capability makes phone calls something I no longer dread. Streaming from my phone is very easy.
They are excellent at highlighting speech and cutting down background noise. The app can be a bit glitchy so I also got the remote control. So switching programs and changing balance between what you're hearing (i.e. TV streaming & conversation) is easy. I can now hear the TV and join in the conversation about it.

The M&RIE is a absolute game changer! I suffer locating sounds and focus in large spaces (Big stores, restuarants, large areas) these really have made the difference to my hearing.
The processing power is far more advanced that my old aids (Lynx 3d) and the enviromental processing is seamless, the aid is responsive to tailor the sound to the enviroment without you feeling like the sound is lossed and restored which can be distracting.
I have streamed for 15+ hours ( I work with phones and radio equipment which need to stream to the aids to provide me with the clarity) and they still had 60% battery left.
The audio quality on the streaming side has come on since my old aids and these are much more punchy and have a good low frequency response which is sometimes lost in hearing aids.

I wanted to experience the M&RIE feature of these hearing aids which places a microphone in each ear in addition to the two microphones fitted in each of the modules which sit behind the ears.
I have to say that I cannot detect any dramatic difference in performance between my old Widex hearing aids and the new Resounds but acknowledge the flexibility available by using the Resound app to adjust the hearing aid settings.
My main criticism would relate to speech clarity which I find difficult to set up. When the setup feels correct for indoor situations, it has to be readjusted outdoors or if sound levels change. This can be done via the app but gets a bit tedious. When the hearing aids are recharged, the settings revert to one called ALL - AROUND and this then has to be changed manually back to the preferred settings which were in use before recharge.
Overall the Resound Ones are good but not exceptional in my opinion.
